Hello beautys
I'm starting to feel comfortable enough to start freelancing especially with some great encouragement from my family and peers. I have a few questions I hope everyone could help with.
how much do you usually charge per make up app?
what products do you think are the best to use?
is it okay to incorporate higher end products with lower priced products, or does your kit need to be one or the other?
most of my own make up tends to be on the higher end, but I love wet and wild liners and nyx
thanks everyone <3

Congrats!! Awesome that you have a strong support base. My daughter is an artist and her kit is a mix of high/low end. Her foundations are definitely high-end though.

I'm no pro at all but IMO I think a mix of high end and budget friendly makeup would be great. From a clients point of view I think this would make being able to recreate a look done in a session by a mua would be more achievable especially for someone who might not be able to afford alllll high end. As someone who has a makeup collection that could easily double as a freelance kit ( I'm a collector) I have a healthy mix of popular high end products as well as budget friendly drugstore products both which I use regularily. My two favorite eyeshadows are urban decay and loreal infallible shadows and all of my mascara is drugstore so it just goes to show that it's good to have a mix!
