It says it for light browns and lighter on the packet.

I tried it yesterday, I put some on my ends just to see what it would turn out like, it looks a bit lighter but nothing really noticeable, I think you have to use it over the course of two weeks every 3 days or so to get a noticeable affect, I have light brown hair btw
