I use part alcohol and soap and a little bit of tee tree oil and your brushes look great

Thanks bella! & jacqlyn, that's why I used both! I watched a few videos on YouTube that used those products together mixed in a bowl. the dish soap cleans them really good & the olive oil makes sure all the moisture doesn't go away! they feel really good, not dry or anything :)

I use the Parsian Brush cleaning system. Takes a matter of seconds and leaves them spotless. I personally do not use oil as not only does it get deep into the belly of the brush and deteriorates it, it can trap bacteria as well. If you want your brushes to feel soft.. a bit of conditioner can help. Oil is quite disastrous to brushes and I personally do not take the word of You Tubers as majority of them are neither Professional Make up artist or have formal training.

Here's what I use!! I can't suggest it enough, I think six dollars and have around one hundred brushes that I wash fairly often and haven't bought a new bar yet! I was so glad I found this soap, I ruined my Rae Morris Kabuki using dish soap, and I'm still crying, lol😩 Olive oil can gunk up, trap yuckies and creates blending issues and can make makeup slide and crease from the added oil, dish soap is drying, alcohol I only use to sanitize synthetic eye brushes. You are so very welcome Lovely Jenny!😘 Oh I'm so glad this works so well for everyone! It's heartbreaking to ruin a good brush. 😩💸 I found this technique from a brush collector who spends a lot of her time with the brush making artists in Japan, and if that's what she uses- it's good!😁 I bought a Savon de Marseilles bar of soap in my local co-op, so fast, easy, cheap and my brushes have never been more clean and soft.
