I want to buy a new high end foundation , my first ever... I have dry skin and prefer lighter coverage as I no longer have acne and my scarring has faded considerably :D!! I like my skin to look natural... Anyway I think Mac face and body would work for me but because I am so pale I'm not sure about colours... Can I ask for a sample at the Mac counter?? Will they give it to me as I'm only young??

Why not try out sephora brands?

I have mac face and body and I got a light color because in the winter I get very pale:) they have a wide range of light colors. It's very light coverage but buildable and better suited for dry skin. Personally, Its not my absolute favorite. My skin is dry but even my skin gets oily with mac face and body. I like it and it looks gorgeous but I notice I need to powder more often with it.. Also I don't apply it on the tone/nose area. If you can get a sample I'd definitely try before you buy:)

Most of MACS foundation is full coverage & makes skin pretty oily

I'm not a huge fan of Mac with my dry skin. I use the concealers at most but most products are extremely drying.

I really want to try this when my summer skin color fades away. It's supposed be light coverage and very good for dry skin because it's water based. Jaclyn Hill loves it for a dewy natural look.

I use MAC face and body and its probably my go to foundation..I absolutely love it, I totally recommend it. it's kind of watery bUt the finish is a light beautiful dewy look and you can't really feel it on your skin.

Mac face and body is apparently very thin but buildable so I'd go get matched for it. just tell them you want light coverage
