This doesn't look like a smokey eye, to me. Is it purple, or is that the reflection? If it's purple, this look would technically be considered to be a gradient. A purple smokey would be really pretty though, maybe you could use the purple to blend out a deeper color?

You did a stunning job, Monique, I am really loving it! I do have to agree with Hannah though; a traditional smokey eye consists of the darkest shade of shadow directly on the lid (note: this does not include the darkest shade being placed on just the outer v area) and as the shadow fades up, it becomes lighter :)
