For more precision you should use s lipliner. A lip brush can also help you apply lip colors in a more neat manner.

The sides can be done like that using a black lip liner

I apply mine straight from the tube or applicator
My hands are usually very steady

Use a lip brush if you want the perfectly sculpted line. Work with small strokes and in smaller areas. Build up the opacity instead of globbing it on. After, don't rub your lips together until it is completely set.

Look up "ombré lip" tutorials to get the look in that picture. You can also use a brush with concealer after applying lipstick to clean up any messy edges.

Use an angled brush to overdraw the edges of your lips and bring the corners out into a point. I think it's somewhat easy to see in this picture: she overdraw her top lip and extended the line from her bottom lip up so they met at a point. Then filled everything in so it all looks lip the lip. I marked on the second pic approximately what is overdrawn and what's the actual lip. You can then use a concealer brush to straighten your lines if they're not perfect straight.
