How I do it is:
Put the product in the center and tail
Take a spoolie and brush the product forward into the start of the brow

I only underline the beginning of my brows, then use a spooky to brush the product upwards. then do the rest as normal.

Only out line them at the end with anatasia dipbrow pomade then I take some lighter shadow and fill in the front then use a spoolie brush over them. I started taking brown mascara and combing my eye brow hairs up ward I like the effect it gives. I also think cleaning them up with concealer is a must

It's called a gradient brow. This is mathu anderson's photo. Though I don't think it would be necessary to map them out first. Assuming you already have eyebrow hairs.

I don't know what your eyebrows look like or if you groom them, but I get mine threaded. mainly because otherwise I end up with uncontrolled brows. when they do the threading she already gives me a start with the faded look. afterwards its very easy to execurate the fading. hope this helps :)
