I had redken shades done but think the girl who did it messed up the color isn't even at all and it seems to be fading uneven too. Any one know how long it will take to completely be gone??

Shades EQ is a semi permanent hair dye. The more you wash your hair the more likely it will fade. If it is a shade with a red undertone or any warmth in it such as browns or reds warm water will fade it out quicker. It's probably on even because she probably didn't do the proper application. There are several matters that a hairstylist like myself have to consider before applying any color even if it is a semi permanent color. I would try going to a school and getting your hair done at their salon the students are under instructions either educators so there educators will let the student know how to take care of your hair. Not only is it inexpensive but you know that you will be leaving with professional results. Hope this helps!

You can apply it like that depending on the state of your hair before hand would depend on how well your hair took to the color. Good luck
