Try patting the powder onto your skin rather than rubbing it on. You might also be using too much product!

Hi Tomoko! Most powder puffs can be washed and dried and reused! I rinse mine well first to remove most makeup, then toss them in a lingerie bag in the washing machine. You could also wash them in the sink with Dawn (the best!!) dish washing soap and warm water. You may need to try a powder that sets more firmly, I love using the dermacolor powder over looks I really don't want to move, then I spray with an Urban Decay setting spray! Skindinavia is also fab, they make both actually. Note: MAC Fix+ is not actually a setting spray, though it does a great job of hydrating and adding dewiness- it has no fixative properties.
