Cracks in my foundation!! Help :(

I have oily skin and I use a primer and a setting spray but for some reason, my foundation always cracks and gets flakey in my nose and chin area. Any ideas as to why this happens and how to fix it??

Well it could be any of the three you are using. Foundation, Primer, Setting Spray (or if you use powder too...). What are you using?

Cover girl 3 in 1 foundation, Rimmel fix and perfect pro primer, NYX matte finish spray and Rimmel stay matte powder.

I would try a different powder. I used to use that one but I found that its was causing the same issue but also not helping with oil, it just looked caked on powdery. I recommend try L'Oreals True Match Powder, its creamier than Rimmels and really helps control what oil I always have on my nose. If this doesn't help then I would try a different foundation or primer. I also used the Rimmel Primer but I ended up switching again, with the same issue as the powder.

Also it could be application (brushes and/or sponges) that you are using

I have oliy skin too and I suggest just using a setting powder. Finishing spray never feels right on my skin (even if it's for oily skin).

I use the Rimmel primer personally and I find its really helpful to prevent cracking foundation so I would keep that. Maybe it is the powder or foundation? A lot of powders make me look cakey as well. I use Physicians Formula Healthy Glow Bronzer as a face powder because its so light so its perfect to use as a powder. Since it has some shimmer in it it might make you look oilier, I don't know, just as a sugvestions because thats what I use and I don't have issues with it. Good luck! :)
