What do you guys think about LL Bean Boots? Are they worth the price? Are they well made, will they last awhile? Should I get the insulated or non insulated? If you do have them what size are yours compared to your normal shoe size because I hear that they have weird sizing. Also which height?

Here's a few pictures of bean boots if you don't know what they are.

I WANT A PAIR OF THOSE SO BAD. And they're totally well made, made in Maine by hand with real leather. I've heard and read reviews of people who have had their Bean boots for 15 years. I'd suggest the insulated ones. I'd get the standard, original size and color. They're classic and totally durable. Go for it!

I've been needing a new pair of winter boots so bad especially since I live in Colorado but I've always put off on it and I didn't know if it was really worth the almost $200 price tag.

I would gladly pay that much for a good pair of winter boots. I live in Wisconsin, so believe me, I understand.

I think I might splurge next pay check and buy myself a pair. Do you know which hight is in the pictures? Are those the 8inch?

Yeah, that's the standard, classic size.

@Like I know that the different styles (no insulation, insulation&gor tex, sherling etc) offer different sizes and the sizing is a bit weird. I was just reading some reviews and lots for the 8" with thinsulation and gor tex say go a whole size down from your normal size. I might have to wait until I can find a pair in store to buy them because I'm worried I might get the wrong size.

Ooooh I live in Colorado too!
Those boots are cute as heck and "bean boot" sounds so cute to say lol, if only they weren't leather I'd be lusting for them for sure! Definitely get them insulated this winter is going to be brutal hahah :)

I know nothing about these boots unfortunately but I feel like I need a pair. I live in Colorado too and I have yet to find good cold wear boots.

My parents LOVE all L L Bean brand stuff. I swear, their t shirts last forever. I don't know anything about their footwear, but as far as their clothing, it's a bit expensive but the quality and durability make the price worth it.

I have a pair from when I was a child , I used to wear the 24/7. Wicked durable and great quality. I love LL bean so much, I live in NH, so boots are like an everyday essential for winter. Even fall.
