I had it done about two years ago. I was really scared (and it wasn't my first body piercing) but honestly the pain wasn't that bad, made my eyes sting for a few mins.
The piercer I went to first cut a cork to fit in my nostril, put clamps on, and pushed a needle thru my nose into the cork. He then inserted a stainless steel horse shoe ring that he bent to make wider. It healed nicely and I left it in for a few months before taking it out. I wish I had left it in tho :/

I had one. I loved it but needed to take it out for school. I went to catholic school so it wasn't allowed. I'm thinking about getting it again though. It's great and not painful (for me at least). Healing time was fairly quick as well.

I honestly love mine so much, and it really only hurt for a second, and then it felt really weird when he pulled out the needle. It was kinda sore for a bit, but it was so worth it.

I have mine done and personally mine didn't hurt at all, mine did bleed however when I got it done. The most uncomfortable part of the procedure is the clamps to be honest haha! My only advice would be to really think about whether you'd like it up or down when you get it because doing that yourself during the first week or so stings quite a bit so just think about how you'll have it while it heals. :) I cleaned mine with salt saline solution that I would make myself, you'll need rock salt/ sea salt; never use table salt. Healing doesn't take long just remember not to move it much while it heals :)
