Try not using the lotion, even though it's oil free it could be the problem. I remember your post from the other day about straightening and getting greasy hair, you mentioned that you used to lotion then too.. you have to test and experiment with different products and see what works and what doesn't work. Unfortunately, I think the lotion is not working.

I agree with Shanae J. you should try new product with your hair and probably with different ingredients then in lotion.

Shall do! I find conditioner weighs it down too... I've tried that many products it's ridiculous! I don't know what to do, I can't keep wasting money /:

I totally understand. If you use a decent amount of conditioner, it'll help keep your hair healthy without weighing it down, it only weighs down hair when too much is used. I highly recommend trying to find a conditioner that you like, they aren't too much money at Wal-Mart. Conditioner helps hair a great amount, just find a shampoo and conditioner line that suits you and ditch the lotions and stuff.

Correction, it only weighs hair down when too much is used and/or left in your hair after showering.

You might consider adding a clarifying shampoo to your haircare. It looks (to me) like you have really fine hair, and your lotions/conditioners could be building up over time and weighing your hair down.

I really believe it's the lotion

To be honest I have very very thick hair, it's just severely weighed down at the moment /: I'll stop using it and see what happens

Try a new shampoo and start using conditioner, there are several products out there that won't weigh your hair down. Not using the lotion is a great idea like I mentioned before. Good luck!
