Hair issues 🙅😨💘 sorry it's long.

Hiya guys! 💜
So basically, my problem is with my natural hair ( when it's not had heat applied to it )... I am still in school, but I have around half an hour in the morning to style it..

So, I usually wash my hair before bed then air dry it before I go to sleep, and when it's dry I put it in a twirled messy bun with no bobble, just bobby pins.

However, despite my hair being full and heavy at night, it seems to frizz up at the roots and at my twizzly bits ( sorry, I don't really know what they're called, but they're the parts that frame the side of your face and are shorter than your main hair, if you know what I mean 😂) are very unruly and look damaged despite in reality they are actually in okay condition😨 also, my hair ( which tbh is rather thin anyway, and medium long legnth) is lighter and seems to be more fine 🙅

So usually, I either go for a messy bun with just the pins again, or a loose high ponytail, or curly hair down, or straight hair down with a quiff or bump on top.

But I don't think these suit me, as mid way through the day, updos frizz up and look disgusting and messy, and hair down goes straggley and my ears poke through the sides because it has become that thin!

Has anybody got any suggestions for either a different style or a product I could use to help it look and stay nicer 😕💞

Thank you very much,
Pops 💁🌸💞✨

P.s. The products I already use are tresseme anti frizz shampoo and conditioner and John Frieda anti frizz spray and lotion 👑

Update** I don't really want a hairstyle that involves my hair straight back as it doesn't look right and makes my ears look like they stick out more than they actually do 😕💜

Hi Poppy,

I know your struggle well. I would invest in some smoothing and curl holding products. shea moisture has great products. also, please don't wash your hair every night. if you want to wash every other night, use a silicone free conditioner. Use shampoo once a week and make sure its sulfate free. try putting your hair in a protective style like 2 strand twists. your can do in at nighr, cover your hair in a silk or satin scarf or bonnet. then when you wake up, you can leave the twists in or un twist them for a controlled style. hope this helps you.
