I've been wanting to try some new hairstyles because all I wear are buns, and my hair down. I really really need to fine a few good ones that I can do fairly easily. I love the pineappled hair looks that some girls do for the night time and I decided to try it but I cannot for the life of me get it to go right. I pull the fabric all the way up and then let my hair fall but when I do it looks TERRIBLE. I don't know what the issue is... Except for the fact that my hair just literally sits in my face. I know that's the idea for sleeping with it , but I am not sure how I can make it work for the day like some girls can. Can you ladies suggest some good and simple natural hair styles for me? I am willing to try anything at this point. (My natural pineapple in the picture)

I'm sorry my hair is wicked frizzy right now! 😁

If you pull some of it apart and even it out more to the side as much as you can, maybe pull the fabric down a little, I think that'll help the sitting in your face part, I actually think it looks really cute.

I love that look too, but my hair is too long to pull it off - it turns into a hilariously terrible mop situation haha. If your hair is long without lots of shorter layers that could be why it flops over for you. I like messy side braids (curls give it nice volume so you don't look off-balance). I'm lazy with my hair so I usually just alternate between the two you mentioned and the side braid, haha.

I think it looks cute Isabel! Maybe it's because you've been messing and looking at it so long and now it just looks weird to you, I do that all the time. Julissas pic is a good idea too! ^

The thing with curly hair that I've found, is that the hairstyles you'll get when you come out of the shower& do it, is basically what its going to be till you wash it again lol :p so I'd suggest washing it and all, then just squeeze out a bit of water out of your with a towel gently, still keeping it pretty damp, then comb it however you'd like, I'd suggest maybe parting it in between the side& middle, so like a side part but not too much :p comb it with a wide tooth comb, and when you get the part/style you want, put a bit of water on your hands and comb it through your hair a bit, so the curls come together more since they're wet again. I usually air dry my hair it helps a lot with the frizziness, so I'd suggest doing this in the morning. Also if you find your hair getting frizzy, just loosely braid your hair on either side, and it should help a bit. I think you should leave your hair completely down without a headband, it would look gorgeous :) sorry this is so long!! Just wanted to get all my tips across& hope this helps!

To your pineapple problem: your hair is too long.
-put your hair in a sleek super high ponytail
-pull it one more time through the band and stop a quarter way through or however much it takes to make the front part shorter

Thank you ladies a bunch!
@Jack B
I need to get my dry hair braiding down because It never looks good when I try it dry 😭 it's a strengthless to try to diversify my hair styles
@Gabby,
I appreciate the tips! This is like third day hair, so that's why it's a bit frizzy! I wanted more up dos for my hair because all I usually do is a side part! I already have my hair routine down pat, usually right out of the shower, I put my leave in and squeeze out excess water! Then I use coconut oil on the ends and twist into a teeny bun, get ready and then when I'm finished my makeup and getting dressed I take it down and add more leave in conditioner and style it! The only style that I can do out of the shower and be able to change it is wearing it down. It's a really struggle. If I put it in a bun, it's not coming down until I shower again 😂 Braids look really odd on my dry hair but I definitely need to try harder! Thank you!
@Julissa
Thank you! But that's exactly what I already did , and it just flops over 😭 I need to try again though for sure.
@Shanae
Thank you! Yeah maybe I need to try it again to get a fresh take on it. Especially with new fabric 😂
@Symone
Agh thank you boo! My hair always looks so odd in ponytails though. I should try the super sleek on wet hair though for sure. Thank you!!
