Hiii everyone ok so I am really self conscious about my skin so I regularly get professional tans at L.A. Tan, I usually get a spray tan but sometimes I opt for the tanning bed.I am only 15 years old and I know its not good for my skin so I was wondering if there were any good substitutions for professional tans. I recommend going to sallys beauty supply and buying this lotion, use it like a regular lotion and it gradually tans your body with a natural looking tan. it's only about $8. Affordable and works great!

I hear Million Dollar Tan works really well. Lauren Conrad on YouTube has a self tanning video.

Don't do a tanning bed, 15 is way to young to ruin your health, just get spray tan or use tanning lotion.

Sephora sells mits so that your hands don't turn orange :)

For mine, you don't needs mitts, it's just a regular lotion, you do have to wash your hands afterwards though!

Oh ok Shanae, I don't self tan, I've just seen them at Sephora , guess it depends on the brand then.

They use them for self tanner spray, but not for gradual self tanner lotion, only because it's a lotion.

Haha I actually tried some tanning lotions but it hasn't turned out too great and I end up feeling even more conscious than before so I might just continue getting spray tans:(

You tried tanning lotions within a day? You're giving it absolutely no time to work. Mine is a GRADUAL tanner, meaning it GRADUALLY tans you. I don't see why you would ask a question and not even give anything a chance to work, but all skin is different I guess. Good luck with your tanning!
