Thigh high socks with jean shorts? The socks are more casual, they have two green stripes across the top and the rest are black and they're regular sock material. So they're not super fancy.

Or, would you wear these cat nylons with jean shorts and a black top?

I own these things and I've never worn them in public cuz I don't know how.

I wouldn't wear them with shorts personally. But the first pair would be awesome with a black skater skirt and a green top with high top converse or boots.

The axons ones could go great with a black dress or skirt.

Yes, if the shorts are A-line or not really tight. That would balance out the fitted socks.

Just really hard to keep it up without a clip or another stocking under it

Cat nylons are cute so go with that since you haven't worn them in public

Thanks everyone!! :) Well, I decided to wear the cat ones with shorts anyway since a couple people said it would be okay and I really wanted to wear it. I've never gotten more compliments on something in my life! lol everyone was asking where I got them. So I think it was okay :)
