I might be going on an exchange this summer for 6 weeks to JAPAN!

it's not official yet, but I've been trying to be positive about hopefully getting to go!
if I do go, does anyone have any tips or things I should on know before I go?

also, does anyone know what I should pack? Idk how much luggage I can bring or anything, but knowing what to bring that I know FOR SURE I won't find would be great!

Hi Mckinzie, I wanted to let you know about a few things here on BL and what's expected of you =) First of all, we don't allow reposts, reposts stop the flow of threads and push down other threads that do need answers, thus creating more reposts. Now that you see which category is for which threads, I'll let you know that I'm a little confused, are you asking what travel essentials are? Or how to style yourself for the trip? If you're asking about travel essentials, it should likely go in "Beauty," since that category is a general catchall and it's also used for when you have questions that span across multiple categories (what makeup/clothing/skincare products will I not be able to find in Japan that I can pack?) and if you're asking about how to style yourself and what clothing to bring, please post in the "Style" section.

Now, all of that said, here on Beautylish we like to keep everything beauty related and everyone on topic, so if the first part of your question is relative to travel advice and advice on staying in a foreign country, I'm afraid that does not belong here. It's great that you're getting to travel, and I'm sure if you have questions the exchange agency will answer them for you; mine did =)
