Do hair extensions really stop hair growth? I heard that they do and I just want to know if I should stop wearing my extensions.

they don't stop hair growth completely but they can hinder it.
what kind of extensions do you wear? clip ins are best for your hair but even these can be damaging when worn constantly because they cause stress to your hair and may make your hair more prone to breaking.

you should be fine to keep using them, feel at your hair where you actually put the clips, if it feels smooth and soft your hair is fine, if it begins to feel rough that would be a sign of breakage but it would take a lot for that to happen.

I wear clip in extensions too!! They won't hurt your hair any more than putting it in a ponytail or using heat on it(:
