So I recently received some eyeshadow for Christmas. I don't normally wear it. My make up is very simple 5 min job. However I love eyeshadow and all the looks you can create, but, it seems like when I try it just clumps an looks a damn mess. Does anyone have any advice and tips to getting maximum sexy eye appeal in minimum time?

are you using the right tools? because the right brush can make all the difference. also start simple with some neutral colors and practice blending them. you can make a really sexy neutral Smokey eye with minimal effort. don't forget your primer!  :)

darker colors toward the outer and light ones toward the inner!

I'm probably not using the right tools. My look is very minimal. What are the right tools?

You need a good primer. Or get a white nyx jumbo eyeshadow pencil. Use a little and make sure it's blended we'll if not it will crease. I use that and macs paint pot sometimes.
