I was trying to look up a really thorough diy costume, but they all involve patches already on the clothing and hats already in detail without showing how they did it. So, not very diy, you know? I don't think there are very many options with diy with the cop costume. I'm sure someone else will find something though. Sorry, I tried! Lol.

Black polo or a T shirt, Black BDU's (Cargo pants... they have some in the men's section at walmart for 15.00) and black snkle high combat boots.
You can tuck the cargo pants in your boots to look more tactical.
Tuck in your shirt, wear a black belt and any costume duty belt you can find should be useful with any extra toy guns. A fake badge around your neck and a black or navy baseball hat. You can find some good add ons at the dollar store.
Although it's not a Class B or Class A Patrol Uniform, Specialized units were similar gear (K9, Priority Service Units, Neighborhood Resource, Detectives, Narcotics, etc. ).
That is what my uniform consists of.. totally comfortable and totally tactical looking.

That's smart! There should be fake badges and guns in the toy section at Wal-Mart or at a dollar store, like she said.
