You know whats pretty decent is DVD brushes essence of beauty...they are made very good and are super soft not sure on prices but definitly affordable..bobbin brown has a basic set for 175...has all your basic needs..wuality is amazing...I believe its like 6 brushes...Check out there site..hope this helps

Essence, they make all kinds, you can buy them at a drug store, decent priced and last a long time, I've had mine a year and love them
