Toner isn't going to be as efficient as a cleanser.

A toner does have some minor cleansing properties by removing soap residue left behind by cleanser and restoring pH balance to your skin that the cleanser probably imbalanced in the first place - but it's not meant to deep clean diet and oils the way that cleansers do - so you can do without a cleanser if you have normal non-acne prone skin but for us acne-prone types it's usually not a good idea to skip the cleanser but if it's working for you then I say keep doing what you're doing.

Also a toner restores the ph balance after cleansing.

Haha, yes - the name cleanser suggests enough actually. But if the toner cleans whatever the cleanser missed, doesn't make that the toner a better cleanser?
But, I guess it's for a reason cleanser was invented. I'll go with your advice, Alexis! Thanks. ;)

Hello everyone,
I have a quick question. For removing make-up I once used this certain cleanser from Yves Rocher. Then I was out of cleanser, and I kind of stopped using one because I simply forgot to buy a new one - so I used the tea tree oil toner from The Body Shop I still had to remove make-up and clean my face.
Is this something I should stop doing, just using toner to clean my face? The thing that never made me get a new cleanser is the fact that my face always feels super clean after the toner, so I wonder if there's something bad about this that I don't know about yet.
Thanks already in advance :)
