I wore a simple strapless black dress this year, last year I wore this purple dress for homecoming but for us the dress code was basically the same

And #5 :) I personally think a dress that was laidback, kinda casual, something you could wear somewhere else besides the dance would be just what your looking for. I looked up Semi Formal Dresses and this is some of what I found. I hope I helped!! Xx

Wear whatever you feel pretty and comfortable in, I'd suggest nothing really long, maybe right below or right above the knee, nothing super tight all over, and nothing too fancy and super sparkly like you would for a prom dress :) I really like Carly's dress! These are just my opinions though, go for whatever dress you love on yourself :)
