I'm new to makeup and I want to know what you think would look best on me? I'm African American and I have clear skin for the most part. My skin tone is close to Gabrielle Union or Keke Palmer. What makeup / brands should I buy? I want to contour also! Thanks in advance! :)

What's your skin type?& what coverage did you want?

I think golds look great on any skintones, but especially darker ones! Like Mary M. said contouring might be difficult but you can still highlight to bring out certain features. Since you're new I recommend starting with the basics, maybe make a drugstore "starter kit". Also depending on what you think you'd like get a neutral eyeshadow pallete like the naked or lorac pro, and if you think you'd like to add some color try BH cosmetics' pallettes.

I agree with Alex, but finding the right video can be hard sometimes :/
