I used a "hair mask" thing and the mask was kind of like a Vaseline/petroleum jelly type which I put all over my hair for about 15 minutes and then washed it out like crazy. This morning I woke up and my hair is matted super greasy and sticky I've never seen it like this before and I've shower once again and it's still not coming out. Does anyone know how to get my hair back to normal and not matted greasy or sticky?

I'm not too good at this sorta stuff but if your hair is greesy then it might be that not all of the mask stuff was washed out. If it were me I would wash my hair with just water whilst combing dry it with a hair dryer then waiting a day or 2 then wash it normally

What exactly did you use in it? Can you tell the ingredients in the mask?

The ingredients of the mask were
Egg
Honey
Olive oil
Coconut/castrol oil but in a petroleum jelly type of form

When you shower with the deep cleaning shampoo, try using really hot water. that might melt the petroleum jelly stuff enough that it comes out.

When I do hair masks I shampoo twice and then condition and I do a thorough job. Also when doing hair masks apply only to ends and not to the roots.

Try blue dawn dish detergent and hot water. Make sure you lather it well, this should do the trick but it may leave your hair a bit dry so put in a leave-in conditioner afterwards.
