My New Cheek Piercings.

So I had one cheek pierced in the past and had to remove it for work..now that I work in the office I am able to have whatever I want so my husband bought these for me for Xmas :-) I know they are super long right now to accomodate swelling but I rarel swell so she said I can come back Tuesday to have them shortened. has anyone had any receding gum problems these?? I wouldn't think so seeing as tho they are between your teeth rather than the gum line but my medusa and kabret both wore down my gums so I took them out. don't mind the bad picture quality. it was night time in the car after I got them done!

Nice! I've had mine done twice and each time for about a year, I didn't notice any problems with my gums so I don't think you'll have any issues there :)

And I said they are long to accomodate swelling...lol so yes they are. I'm no stranger to tattoos or piercings. I get them shortened Tuesday if there's still no swelling. and pain wise is a piece of cake.

I love them those septums and Medusa's are my fav piercings of all time but I don't have those yet did your septum hurt? I'm getting that next

Honestly, they're so much upkeep for me. They were fine the first time, I got them pierced with "timple" bars, so the normal 16g bar instead of the larger cheek piercing bars. The second time around I got them done with the normal cheek bars, I didn't have any issues in particular just sometimes they could be a pain in the butt lol, I miss them all the time though :p

I'm a piercing lover myself. That said, my husband is a dentist and when I worked there we saw many patients whose mouth piercings had if not chipped their teeth, had eroded the enamel making it much easier to crack a tooth or end up with a chip. Don't get me wrong, I'm pro-piercing, just present all sides! I think your piercing looks awesome!

Awe Kathryn that's probably why your teeth are soo perfect :) and Erika I love them!! My cheeks aren't cheeky enough or have natural dimples to cheek piercings. So I get jealous about girls who are perfect for them! And you my girl rock them!
