If your just spending time with your family on Christmas I would personally dress it down a little by wearing some cute boots with some knee high socks like cream colored ones As for jewlery I would wear some tiny dainty gold jewlery and do loose relaxed curls.

Black or gold shoes with your hair in an updo. For makeup a shimmery champagne eye with black eyeliner.

Silver or gold heels, simple necklace to draw the eye up, I would do a glam curled hairstyle. Curl your hair with a wand and before you let the curl go keep it in its coil and then pin it to your head with a bobby pin. Do this all over your hair and while you're waiting for your hair to set, do your makeup. I would do a glowy face, shimmery champagne colored eyeshadow, black eyeliner, rosy cheeks, and pink glossy lips. Let your hair down and brush through your hair with your fingers. Hairspray.
