Hi ladies,

I need some piece of advice. I am 22 and when I was younger I had really thick and volumous hair. For some years now I have stated to care for it better but also to blow dry it more often and do some highlights now and then... now I feel that I have less hair. It falls off more than it used to before and I don't know exactly what to do. Did someone experience something like this also? I don't really want to take medication or pills for my hair if there is no need for it. What should I do?

The best advice would be to talk to your doctor. Only he or she can say for sure, because everyone's different. Don't take pills unless they're prescribed to you. And good luck! I'm sorry I couldn't help. 🍀

You should cut down on how much styling you do to your hair. The reason your hair is falling out is because your literally killing it. Now, I don't mean you can't do anything to your damaged hair. When you do use heat or blow dry, use a heat protectant before styling. When blow drying, try using the lowest setting or the cool button. I don't feel like it is necessary to blow dry every time you shower. If you're staying home, let it naturally air dry. What kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use? I use Moroccan Aragon Oil 360 Moisture from Avon. It has made a HUGE difference in my hair, and I rarely use heat. I also use One n' Only Aragon Oil Leave-In Conditioner. You can get this at Sally Hanson. It's one of their cheapest, I believe, yet it is so amazing! I just ran out and I can feel the difference without it. I find that if you wring out your hair before conditioning, it helps dramatically! Leave every product you use in the shower in you hair for about ten minutes to get the best results. To have your hair look healthier and shine, try rinsing with, as cold as you can handle, cold water. This stops frizz and makes your hair silkily shine! I go back to you saying that your hair falls out. Mine used to a lot and I had to empty my brush nearly every day. Would you run a brush through a piece of silk? No, that would be ridiculous, right? Visually, as your hair is wet, it relates to silk. Let it dry, or I find it better to just allow it to become damp. That where the One n' Only Leave-In Conditioner locks in the moisture. If you have to brush it or you're in a hurry, use a wide tooth comb! A brush damages your hair when it is wet. If your hair is just so damaged and you need some more help, there are pills out there. I would recommend a Hair, Skin, and Nails Vitamin. The most important solution for every problem in the world is water! I was never one to just be satisfied with water, and I'll admit, I'm still not. But, with multiple health problems, it has helped me well. The average person is supposed to drink eight glasses of water a day! That's insane to me. I recommend, and going to do, is get a refillable bottle. I'm going to make lines and put a time on each line of when that much needs to be drunken. I hope I helped! If you have any more questions, you can follow and message me. :)

Thanks a lot for the help. Actually I do somethings wrong... I comb my hair in the shower when it is wet with the conditioner and I do not drink any water at all!! I should definetely drink more water. thanks for the advice. I use Loreal professional or Redken for shampoo and conditioner, so that must not be the problem... oh well.. let's see how it goes. :).

I'd suggest air drying, when I did it even after a month or two my hair got thinner, so using less heat especial blow drying helps a lot!

If it's a LOT of hair, a visit to your doc may not be a bad idea. I've always used heat on my hair and colored it occasionally, but last year it started falling out like crazy. I went to my doctor and it turned out my potassium levels were super low. Sometimes it's random things you would never even think of. That's just my experience, everyone is different. Good luck!

I'm glad I helped. You can also try Damage Repair. I've used Redken and it made my hair like hay. Until I found Avon and Finesse, my hair was annoying. Since you have to have an Avon Lady for Avon, I'd try Finesse!
