Not sure if this is the right catergory, but what are undertones? I heard its something to do with veins?? (I have greeny/blue veins) so what does that mean? what type of makeup can I or can't I wear? sorry if this is a silly question :-pp.

Undertones are the underlying tint to the skin that influence whether a person has a “warm” or “cool” complexion. Knowing the color of these undertones is very useful as it assesses you in choosing hair dye, makeup, jewelry, and clothing in flattering colors and shades.

Veins that pull blue means you have a cool undertone, veins that pull green mean you have warm, and both green/blue mean you have a neutral undertone (consider yourself lucky as it means you can pull off both warm and cool colors).

Warm undertones also have a yellow, golden, or olive look to the skin; You also tan easily. Those with cool undertones usually have a pink or sallow look to the skin, and most of the time are pale.
