Have any of you ladies used Tarte Amazonian clay foundation and UD naked foundation??

Also, I am more of a powder foundation type of lady so any suggestions on a great pressed powder or loose powder I came buy at Ulta. I tried Pur minerals and I did not like.

I have used the taste Amazonian clay foundation and it has good coverage. If you have sensitive skin it can break you out. This happened to my sister.

I wanted to try the tarte one but I was really disappointed in the shade range - if there were 20 shades, the first 19 ranged from super pale to slightly-tan-white-person, and the last was a super deep brown. Maybe that was just the store by me, but there was nothing even remotely close to my skin tone.

I have found the Amazonian clay foundation to have too thick or too cakey of a look for me and I'm an oily skinned girl. On the other hand, loved the finish of the UD Naked foundation, but they only make it for yellow undertones and I'm a rose undertone so that doesn't work for me either (makes me look ill). As far as powder foundations, Bare Minerals is really good, but I actually prefer the powder foundation from Physicians Formula, however both are available at Ulta. good luck in your search.

I found Tarte to be a bit ashy for my skintone and I didn't like the sensation of feeling like something was on my skin. I'm currently testing out Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation. It smells so yummy and it does leave my skin feeling like a rose petal as they claim. I can't recall if its sold at ULTA or not.

^^ I do know they sell it at Ulta. I have not tried it. Shelley, you'll have to let me know how it goes for you in the long run.

I didn't like the Tarte foundation at all! No matter which shade I tried it looked way to yellow! It was quite greasy and thick but the coverage was pretty good but I didn't like how it made my skin feel when I wore it so I did end up returning it.

I have used both I really like Ud naked skin better the tart looks less natural and it's very thick and the colors are off for deeper skin tones.

I've tried both of these and I have to say that I do not like tarte's Amazonian clay one. It's so thick that it feels like you're wearing a clay mask and looks very cakey if you choose to set it with a powder (translucent or not) on the other hand, the urban decay one has good coverage, blends early, stays in place, and actually feels and looks like skin! And as for powder I suggest benefits hello flawless or makeup for ever's pressed powder. I hope this helped!!

I've been using the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation for about a month and I love it. My skin is super oily and acne prone, and it hasn't broken me out at all. I use the Dr Jart Pore Medic primer under it, and I set it with Ben Nye powder. It keeps me pretty matte for hours. A little goes a long way, so I don't need a lot for good coverage.
