Oooh! Go bright red first and after it fades go soft orange or strawberry blonde ;)

Thanks shaye, after it fades do you think I could just do a blonde over top to get a strawberry color? Or would I have to strip it a bit? Sorry I always always go dark haha.

The bright red if you use a vegan dye like manic panic, etc.should actually fade to a light orange colour so if you found a strawberry blonde dye you liked after that you could use it )

I've used vegan dyes in my hair before and no matter what I have done it's washed out completely within a week. Manic panic was the worst (in highschool I was known solely as the girl with the pink hair haha it was a catholic school so no one else really did that haha)

Oooh blonde like that means you can do anything! Were I you, I'd absolutely go red. Like a bright, almost unnatural shade of reddish burgundy. So that in the right light it looks natural, but in direct sunlight it looks bright and awesome :) am I making sense?

I think so! I'm actually really excited to do this! An ex-friend who's attending beauty school this year wanted to do my hair when I wanted to go orange. But she totally fried my hair and never finished and it was soo splotchy. So I wanted to wait a bit before touching it again. So I put in a 20 volume bleach this afternoon to try and get my roots covered and tone down some of the dark orangey brown. I'm soo excited! I think I will do red and then gradually fade it out to a nice orange color, then go strawberry :) thanks shaye and Hannah, how dark should I go, any shade ideas? I'll probably use garnier

Oh man, I was just looking at a picture that would be similar to what you just said that is like the coolest thing ever. I'll see if I can find it.

I love that but sadly I can't get away with that 😞 but it's sooo pretty!!

But the deep red is sort of the color I was talking about :) something like that is just bright enough to be interesting but dark enough to be professional (I think)

Thanks Hannah! Greatly appreciate your help on this! I've always loved your hair I just wish I could go crazy with color 😞 I haven't had anything fun like that since high school.

Oh man, I'm going to keep my hair as crazy as possible for as long as I can. By my estimation, I have about 3 and a half years left of higher education, maybe 4 and a half, and I plan to keep it wild for all of those years :) no problem, I am always happy to help!

I'd tone it to a more beige or ash. :)
