I find some colors a bit thin and I usually have to do 3 or 4 coats, but some colors are very opaque. I usually have this problem with most nail polishes, for some reason it depends on the color, I guess lighter colors have a thinner formula as opposed to darker colors having a thicker consistency.

A lot of the essie colors are super sheer. It's so annoying because they are such gorgeous colors. But for me they tend to dry quickly when done with two or three very thin layers. I love your mani =) coral and gold always look amazing next to each other! Happy New Years!

I actually find that Essie nail polishes get glopy really quickly, so it applies to thick. I would prefer thinner nail polishes. I like opi.
