Hey everyone! was just wondering if anyone has advice for what tops (specifically) are flattering for girls with large breasts. I think I have enough dresses down (lots of A-line to balance out how top heavy I am), but need help on clothes. I rarely pull off flowy shirts because it makes me look bigger since my boobs move the material forward.
Also, I have a bit of a belly so I don't like to wear anything too tight as it makes me feel liks it highlights my belly. Any advice on what style tops?

I agree with Shaye! Peplum tops are very flattering to the body (:

Peplum tops look really good! Avoiding jeans with a skinny leg and instead going for a bootcut helps a decent bit. Anything that may hug the body at the top and flares out slightly will help cover your insrcurities while also eliminating a "bigger" look(:

Okay I am so so late to this but I hope you see it.

My measurements...I wear a 34G bra size and a size 4/6 in dresses, a size small in t shirts. I know that makes no sense but it's true and because I have a smaller frame the clothing I wear is a little different.

In terms of tops, I recommend several things:

-unisex or men's t shirts. I wear a small in these or sometimes a youth XL depending. What's nice about them is that there's room for your chest but it won't be super tight on the rest of your body. Also, if they have some sort of pattern that's best because if they're just plain they can make it look like your chest is more massive than it actually is because it's just kind of an expanse of t shirts

-tank tops. I get mine from J Crew because they aren't spaghetti straps and they're also not the loose/bro tank kind of style. They work well because they're a scoop neck style so they give the illusion of balance

-anything with a scoop neck will be flattering, so long as it's not too loose (aforementioned makes you look like a house issue) but long sleeved t shirts like that work well as do short sleeve t shirts mostly.

Honestly I avoid a few things:

-baby doll tops. Disaster.
-high necked or turtlenecked t shirts
-t shirts without patterns
-loose tops.

Everything else you can make work for you :) let me know if this helps or if you want any more advice or if you just want me to throw together some outfits or something :)

Also, sometimes throwing a cardigan over a shirt you don't think is super flattering is really a lifesaver :)

Also, button down shirts. I have trouble finding some that actually button well and doesn't look like I borrowed it from my dad lol. tucking it in helps a lot

Tucking in flowy shirts or adding a cute jacket looks good too :)

I have a similar issue, I'm a uk size 8 and wear a 32G bra size, which can be a pain, as I have a small back but a big bust. Generally speaking I either go for scoop or v neck tops and I find empire line tops are lovely and flattering - fitted around and under the bust and then loose. It's a good way to wear loose tops without them looking billowy!
