I am torn between the Lorac pro palette and the too faced chocolate bar palette. I have heard great things about both. Would love some input or suggestions for others. Thanks :)

I love both. They are equally as great. If you like more matte colors go for the Lorac.

The Lorac Pro. The first Chocolate leans more on the plummy side with some of the shades which is s bit limiting in my opinion while the Lorac holds an equal amount of mattes and shimmer shades. Its a very diverse palette. I have both and while I love the TF palette the Lorac Pro has been a major workhorse.

Honestly I'm torn both are great I can't even decide! I don't have either and both have gorgeous colours; if you don't have a lot of palettes or shadows I'd get the Lorac pro because it offers lots of different colors and finishes.

I don't own either, but based on all these girls I'd go with the Lorac pro, seems more diverse :) either way I'm sure you'll love what you choose :)

Too faced chocolate bar palette. There isn't anything special about the lorac pro palette, same colors you find everywhere.

I have the Lorac Pro 2 and I love it very much, first row is all matte and the second is your shimmers. I have yet to get my hands on the Chocolate Bar, but wanted you to know about Lorac 2 :) you also get a sample of the shadow primer

Both are permanent items so just get whichever one is screaming at you and then make it a goal to get the other one in the near future. If my memory is correct Sephora might be having another discount event in the spring...just a thought.

@Maggie...the chocolate palette is dupable. I've found colors from Makeup Geek, Morphe Brushes, MAC, Bobbi Brown and even one from NARS. What makes TF unique is that the shades smell like chocolate and the shades aren't crazy pigmented like let say a Ben Nye eyeshadow so it makes it perfect for those who don't like a super dramatic/heavily pigmented eyeshadows. So its user friendly for those just starting out with eye makeup.

@Maggie...I couldn't take it one day and I licked the corner of one shade just out of curiosity. Everytime I open that palette I inhale the chocolate scent. lol. How do you like the foundation? I was tempted to get that the other day.

I would suggest lorac pro palette as it is versatile. You can create numerous looks with it.
