Ok. I'm treating myself to a pedicure and manicure tomorrow. I usually do my own nails, but after work/school stress, I thought this was a good idea! My nails have been really funky lately. Not growing fast/long and breaking. I don't know if I should leave them as is and fix the ones needed. Or do gel, or silk wraps. I've done gel and wraps. Love wraps. But I don't know what to do!! Help ladies!!

Hmm... That's tricky I'm torn. If they are chipped and thin then getting gel or acrylics will in the long run thin them out more, but if your going to get your nails did, then you want some length to make them pretty... Hmmm... I say go for gel! Treat yourself to some gorgeous tips!

Wait... What are silk wraps? Songs glorious.

They are better than acrylics basically. Little pieces of silk attached to nails built up with powder and glue. They are very natural looking. Obvi they will be somewhat damaging like gels etc. But less so than acrylics

Oooh... I then would go with silk, I'm assuming your nail width would be a lot thinner than gel? That's the one thing I hate about gel and acrylics is how thick the application is. You can't pick anything up and it just sucks. Lol.

Yeah. Silk is amazing. You can make your nails longer etc.without looking fake etc.

So what are your ideas to put on your nails design wise? Want something simple like just a color or a design?

More that I don't know what type of nails: natural, gel, silk. I have 2 tears in my nails that need fixing. Also 2 nails are a bit shorter than the others
