Is bio-oil safe to use on the face. I have severe dry skin from this cold weather and I ran out of moisturizer until I can hit the store Sunday. Can bio oil be a substitute for now?

I've heard that jojoba oil is wonderful for dry skin

I have never used it on my face. I feel like it would probably make you break out. if you do use some, use very little.

Great for body but for face no. It contains mineral oil. For long term use I wouldn't advise it but if you must use something to tide you over till Sunday then you should be fine.

I would look into Eucerin for stuff for your face. Bio-Oil isnt exactly good for your face. Eucerin offers nice face cream for "eczema" but it is nice or dry skin also.

Sometimes putting an oil on your skin makes your skin make less of its own oils and your skin will actually become dryer! Use an oil to cleanse so you don't strip your natural oils and use a good moisturizer during the day to protect from the elements. If you want to avoid breakouts just skip the heavy night creams, the block the skins natural cleansing system during the night. And uf you're not stripping your skin with foamy cleansers you won't dry out anyhow :-)
