I don't have a Sephora near me, so figuring out what I need and must have when I'm traveling near one is always a challenge. It's like being a child in a candy store. So, my advice would be to to take stock of what you have that's getting old and needs to be replaced, particularly those brands you can't buy easily. I really like Hourglass and they've got some new items out. Their primer is great and available in a travel size. Also a fan of YSL long lasting lips and waterproof pencil liner. Laura Mercier's newest foundation is highly rated and it's in like 28 shades. It's hard to go wrong with one of her foundations and/or primers. Special fragrances are nice, too. I tried Tom Ford's Black Orchid, a unisex item and while I didn't like the initial smell, the dry down was magnificent. Now I want it. Just some thoughts.

I'm always curious in the new hype! Highlighters! Shimmer! Occ! Kat Von D! Like I always wonder what things ate commonly bought at sephora.

Okay, as far as highlighters: the Becca shimmering skin perfectors are very hyped up, and for good reason: they're gorgeous. Urban Decay has just released a new shade of their naked illuminated called Aura which looks pretty. OCC is obviously famous for their lip tars, and I've found that while they are incredibly pigmented, they also bleed terribly. Kat Von D's Monarch and Chrysalis palettes are hands down my favorite palettes in sephora. She has a ton of great products, her liquid lipsticks, eyeshadows, full-coverage foundation. As far as personal favorites, the KvD palettes I mentioned, Too Faced better than sex mascara, Urban Decay lipsticks, MUFE HD foundation, Hourglass serum primer, Buxom lip creams. I could go on and on.
