Both! Black if you wear a black Shirt under the coat! & chest nut you can basically wear any colors :)

I would wear a striped or patterned top with black leggings and your chestnut boots. I would just be sure that the top has brown and black in it. Ya know, give it an interest piece to break up the solids. It's a cute coat!
