I finally bought a maybelline color tattoo! Very late on that ban wagon, I know! Anyways, I bought the color Vintage Plum in the leather collection, I was so excited because it looked absolutely gorgeous!! So I got home open the package and swatched it and this is what happened... Is it just me or does it look very patchy and uneven..? I'm just wondering if anybody else's looks like that, and if it's just the color I don't know! But, so far I can say that this product was not worth the hype maybe it was just the color please let me know!!

Hmm I have a tan one and a purple one. I find they work best and have the best, most consistent payoff when you dab it onto the lid rather than swipe it, you know? Takes some work to get used to, just play around with it.

I think it's just that color. Maybe you got a bad one? I have a few and they don't swatch like that. Go exchange it for a different one!

Mine goes on kind of patchy at first but it turns out great if I blend it out and add more and blend it and repeat until I get how much I want

I have the wild gold and I agree, I think patting it in is better than searching back and forth. But still, you should return it and get another one if it's not to your liking!

I had the same experience, I love all of the permanent shades but for some reason the leather collection just applied very patchy for me.

Thanks guys, I think they'll try it with a primer and see what happens and if I don't like it return it!!
