So, my skin is oily on the t zone (not very much) and recently (because of the cold I assume) the skin on my nose, some small areas on my forehead and a tiny part on my jaw, started to flake off and now my nose (I focus on that more) is full of skin ready to come off but my scrub can't help it. The problem is that if I just leave it alone it will look better in about 3 to 4 days and I don't wanna wait that long. So I was wondering should I use olive oil (and my moisturizer) to help it, even though I have oil skin with acne? I am asking because I know how good and beneficial olive oil is for the skin, is just that I'm scared to use it because of my skin. Can someone give me some advise on it? (But please answer only if you had the same problem before or if you know a lot more on this. Thanks!)

I believe olive oil can actually clog your pores. when my skin gets really dry during winter (also on the nose, chin, between eyebrows, and cheek area near the mouth) I use aquaphor over night and it works wonderfully for me. also, joboba oil would be good I believe.
