I've been wanting to try benefit Porefessional forever, but before I buy, could anyone tell me whether or not it's good for oily skin?
Also, I have a mac voucher I need to spend and I need a good eyeshadow blending brush. Any suggestions??
Thanks!

Hi Lauren!
I have not tried the Benefit PoreFessional, but that being said.. taking a peek at the ingredients it's indeed very silicone base. If your skin is very oily, that can become problematic.
Silicone is non-comedogenic, but just like Vaseline, it won't clog your pore but it can trap oils. Most oily skin girls don't have any issues with Silicone, but if you are very oily it can be problematic. Silicone is an emollient and too many emollients can be problematic ( Mainly at acne prone skin types) I recommend asking for a sample, they may even have it in a sample size. It does use some high quality Silicone though.
As for M.A.C Brushes, a big staple is the 217 brush. I actually bought 2 of them. The 224 is also a great brush! It does a great job at diffusing eyeshadow. You can't go wrong with either brushes, they are amazing!

Thank you Kitty! I knew I heard something about porefessional in relation to oily skin, just couldn't remember what exactly. I will ask for a sample size.
The 217 sounds like a good all around eyeshadow brush I think I'll go for that.
Thanks again, always so helpful!

I've used benefit porefessional and didn't care for it. Even though it's a silicone based primer it made my skin look greasy over time, and I don't have oily skin so thats how I know it was the primer. Also it has a fragrance so I wouldn't reccomend if you have sensitive skin.
