I want to dye my hair myself and go to the salon for a malibu. Is it ok if I dye my hair the night before and then go in?

I'm sorry I'm not sure what a Malibu is, but I don't think you should dye it yourself before you go to the salon, because I know what it can be hard for a stylist to get the wanted color on top for a box dye. so I think your best bet is to get it all done at the salon.

If you are getting a Malibu treatment then I would wait to color it.
