Cut enough to remove the damaged ends. Its hair and it will grow back but if you don't get rid of those bad ends its only going to split further up the hair shaft forcing to cut even more length later down the line.

I would just get your split ends cut but honestly judging by your picture they don't look that bad. You suit your hair long :)
