Ouch! -I hate customs! Haha I actually just use baby shampoo. I works really well and having three babies in my house I had a ton of baby shampoo.

For the cinema secrets I think the reason you can't get it is that it's a hazmat item and has to go by ground shipping. That would be a huge pain to ship to Denmark. Wayne Goss recommends using 95% alcohol on brushes (and he claims he's had the same brushes for years and alcohol hasn't dried them out or ruined them, washing them multiple times a day). Though for HIS line of brushes, he recommends using baby shampoo. I'm sure you can get 95% alcohol in denmark, though I know the Scandinavian countries are a bit weird about selling high proof alcohol, you can probably get the denatured kind which would work for cleaning.

95% alcohol will dry the brushes in minutes. Parian spirits work faster than soap and water, but they still take several hours...

Alcohol evaporates pretty quickly, so if they're dry, the alcohol is gone and it won't have any effect on your face.
