How to reduce acne scars and redness.

I have a lot of ance scars and redness and want a way to reduce the appearance. The thing is I don't want to also get rid of my freckles and I'm afraid that if I use things for acne scars it will get rid of my freckles too. And for the redness I would rather have a long term solution. Green primer or concealer doesn't work on me, and I feel like the problem is getting worse. I only wear foundation because my redness is so intense, and I don't know what to do because I'm so pale and any redness is super noticeable. I need help. Thank you.

I've seen people on here recommend Vitamin C and Paulas choice bha liquid exfoliant. I haven't tried them myself yet but I have heard both of those do wonders for acne scars just by reading reviews. For redness I'm not really sure sorry!
