Sephora Gift Cards?

Why can you only use a gift card in jcpenney sephora if that's where you bought it? Isn't sephora still getting the money? This bums me out so bad. I found out after I drove an hour away to another mall for the actual store!

Doesn't it say you can only use it in such-and-such place on the back of the card?

Yeah- my BF got me the Naked pallet last Christmas and I already had it.. And he had gotten it at a Sephora in JCP. My JCP at the time didn't have a sephora but I was still able to return it.

I had the same problem. My cousin bought it for me. They made it seem like you could use it at an Sephora. I looked it up on the site, and they now accept JCP credit cards. It makes no sense to me. My JCP Sephora is so small, I'm going to have to buy makeup instead of new skincare.
