Combat Boot Wont Zipper...Help!!

My boot won't zipper and there seems to be a gap between the boot and the zipper lining so the zipper won't go up...

do I need new boots or is there anyway to fix this

Could a part of the material be out of line with the zipper? I'm not sure how well I can explain this but I'll try. I recently bought a pair of high heeled boots and when I went to zip them up, the line of material (that is directly above your pointer finger in this pic) was a bit out of line with the zipper, and that was why it wouldn't zip up properly. I then kind of grabbed and pushed up that line of material with my fingers and the problem was fixed! I'm not exactly sure if this will work in your situation, but it definitely couldn't hurt to try, good luck!

Alicia, if you look closely at the photo you will see the gap from the boot to the zipper. It's a little more than out of line like your situation (unfortunately) but thank you so much I will try.

Take the two parts of the boot and put it together Bren try to zip it sorry if I didn't help.
