Honestly the only advice I have is not to touch it much while you're cleaning it, like try not to move it around :) what're you cleaning it with? Personally I've always used a saline solution I'd make myself and I've never had an infection :)

Also when it gets crusty, don't stress that means it's healing. Unless theirs puss and the swelling doesn't go down in the next 1/2 weeks then that's when there's a problem. Also forgot to mention, when it starts to heal a little you might get the urge to play with it with your teeth, don't do that until it's fully healed haha :) it's tempting but not good for healing.

I wanna get my Monroe done it looks good on you and your tatoo place should have taught you how to clean and if you get a bump that hurts don't take it out use instant ocean sea salt with warm water and then leave on there for a good bit and you can get that from a pet store.
