Highlights or lowlights?

So I'm getting my hair done for my birthday and I don't know if I want highlights or lowlights and I DO NOT want them to be like a caramel color. Any pictures or ideas of what would look good with my hair color and skin tone?

I think both highlights and lowlights would look great! If you want it to be more noticeable, I'd go with highlights, but if you want a more subtle look, then I'd say try lowlights :)

I think you would look lovely with highlights and if you don't want caramel you could go lighter hope I could help :D
